Clinic Schedule
The cleft clinic runs on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Where necessary clients are seen for a Speech and Language Therapy assessment in the morning. Every effort is made to ensure that clients travelling a greater distance, are given late morning appointments to allow for travel time. Clients are seen by the full team in the afternoon. The Speech and Language Therapy clinic runs from approximately 9.30am, and the afternoon clinic starts at 2.00pm.
Public Transport
The following buses stop outside the hospital -the 77 and 77A run between town and Tallaght; the 56A runs between town and Tallaght; the 123 runs between Marino and Our Lady’s; the 122 runs between town and Our Lady’s: the 150- runs between town and Walkinstown: the 210- runs between Clondalkin and Dolphin’s Barn.
Car Parking
Visitor parking is available in the carpark situated outside the Outpatients’ Department. Charges apply.
Accommodation
Parents may stay in the parent accommodation during their child’s admission. Surgery Admission takes place the day prior to surgery. Parents are advised to plan for a week long stay in hospital for all types of cleft surgery. For all palatal surgery, children spend the night after surgery in the ICU. For lip surgery children will return to the ward following surgery.

Our Lady’s Hospital is situated on the south side of the city on the Crumlin Road, near the Long Mile Road. The cleft clinic takes place in the Out Patients Department.
