Family Day – Saturday, 10th June 2006

Location: Defence Forces Training Centre, Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare

Following our inaugural family activity day with the Arklow Sea Scouts in 2004, the Association is holding a family day on the 10th June thanks to the Defence Forces.

For those of you who attended our first Activity Day held in Arklow in June 2004, you will remember the fun that was had by all involved, and how the kids and teenagers went home at the end of an activity and fun-packed day with many fond memories and not a little tired from their exertions!

Date: Saturday 10th June 2006, 10am to 4pm

Not only are the army making their facilities available they are cooking up a giant barbeque, laying an obstacle course for adults and children, organising a military exhibit and setting up tents for loads of cups of tea. In between all that activity there will be games for children, face painting and lots of fun.

By the way there is a swimming pool too!

The family activity day is for anybody that has been affected by cleft lip and / or palate and their families. For kids and adults alike, it’s an opportunity to meet, swap stories and mostly have fun. If you want to come along complete the booking form below and send to the Association.
